Events this week at Shepherd of the Hills

We have several activities happening at the church this week!

+ WEDNESDAY is our final soup supper at 5:30pm followed by our final Lenten worship at 6:30.  Come and share a meal and find out what happens to Jonah!

+SATURDAY 4/16 is our Annual Congregational Formal hosted by LCM.   This is our annual congregational “prom” organized by the students of Lutheran Campus Ministry for the congregation of Shepherd of the Hills. This is one of the ways LCM says ‘thank you’ for the help and support given all year long. Please plan to come!! It begins at 7pm on Saturday, April 16th. Our theme this year is The Old West so if you like, feel free to come dressed in a western style! (this means Blue Jeans qualify as formal for this Formal!)

+PALM SUNDAY WORSHIP  This Sunday is Palm Sunday which begins the observance of Holy Week. We begin worship outside (weather permitting) and process into the sanctuary waving palm branches and singing.

Additionally, the choir will continue to prepare for the Easter Cantata with rehearsal on Wednesday evening after worship. There is also a council meeting on Friday afternoon.

Lenten Worship and Soup Suppers Begin

Our weekly Lenten Soup Suppers have begun! We will gather at 5:30pm each Wednesday evening until Holy Week for soup and fellowship. Please come join us!  If you are able, bring a soup or bread to share.

Our worship service follows the meal at 6:30pm. We have an interesting sermon series this year on the Sign of Jonah.
