Festival of the Incarnation

On Christmas Eve, Saturday, Dec. 24, Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, Sylva, will celebrate the birth of Jesus of Nazareth.

This celebration is open to the public and we want to invite everyone to attend!

Our celebration begins at 5:00pm with an organ performance of seasonal music. The worship service will begin at 5:30 pm and will include Holy Communion, readings, and music.

At the end of the service, we will give everyone present a small candle and we will conclude our worship with the singing of “Silent Night” and “Joy to the World” as the we leave the sanctuary with only the light of the candles.

Any who come as early as 4:30pm on Christmas Eve will get one final visit with Santa in the fellowship hall.

On Christmas Day, Sunday Dec. 25, worship will be held at the regular time of 11:00 am.
